Graduate students' submissions in all formats are very welcome. This is a peer review process, with the opportunity for your paper submission to be adjucated for potential publication in one of two journals. Submissions for presentations, panel discussions, facilitated discussions, and poster sessions will be accepted until January 30, 2010. Click here for more details...
MADLaT is an organization run entirely by volunteers. Through the conference, the listserv and networking opportunities, we form a community of learners - supporting learning opportunities for our members. When you attend MADLaT, you become a member of the community. We are extremely proud of the excellent work being done both locally and elsewhere and use the conference workshops and sessions to both showcase the knowledge and expertise and challenge ourselves with new ideas and research. The Friday morning breakfast and Thursday evening "Conference Opener provide lots of opportunities to network with colleagues.
MADLaT recognizes and appreciates the support of various provincial government departments and agencies and the public post-secondary institutions in Manitoba. Their support allows us to keep registration fees reasonable while providing you with access to expertise from around the province and the world!
A "Call for Papers" will again be a part of the MADLaT Conference. Visit the conference website to find out more about the "Call" and how to submit a proposal. The conference will highlight interesting sessions initiated by successful practitioners and selected by a special programming team.
Red River College's Princess Street Campus,
in the heart of the Exchange District, is our venue
in 2010. This is a beautiful space in which to learn,
share knowledge, explore new ideas and have fun together.
So - please mark your calendars for May 6 & 7 in
Winnipeg. We look forward to meeting you at the conference!
We're still in the planning stages so
check back frequently.
