Mark your calendars!  MADLaT 2013 will be held at Red River College Princess Street Campus (Winnipeg, MB) on May 2nd & 3rd, 2013, with many interesting workshops and sessions.

MADLaT's annual 2-day conference is oriented to teachers, trainers, and practitioners interested and involved in using educational technology.

Doering

We are pleased to announce Dr. Aaron Doering as the keynote speaker.  Over the past decade, Dr. Doering, professor of Learning Technologies and co-director of the Learning Technologies Media Lab at the University of Minnesota, has brought Adventure Learning to the forefront of education as he’s traveled to climate hotspots around the globe, collaborating with diverse cultures while millions of learners participated virtually.

Red River College's Princess Street Campus, in the heart of the Exchange District, is our venue in 2013. This is a beautiful space in which to learn, share knowledge, explore new ideas and have fun together. So - please mark your calendars for May 2 & 3 in Winnipeg. We look forward to meeting you at the conference!

MADLaT is an organization run entirely by volunteers. Through the conference, the listserv and networking opportunities, we form a community of learners - supporting learning opportunities for our members. When you attend MADLaT, you become a member of the community. We are extremely proud of the excellent work being done both locally and elsewhere and use the conference workshops and sessions to both showcase the knowledge and expertise and challenge ourselves with new ideas and research.

MADLaT recognizes and appreciates the support of various provincial government departments and agencies and the public post-secondary institutions in Manitoba. Their support allows us to keep registration fees reasonable while providing you with access to expertise from around the province and the world!

A "Call for Papers" will again be a part of the MADLaT Conference. Visit the conference website to find out more about the "Call" and how to submit a proposal. The conference will highlight interesting sessions initiated by successful practitioners and selected by a special programming team.
