Jo-Anne is currently working at Red River College as Senior Instructional Designer for the Teaching Learning Technology Centre. She has been involved in distance education since 2004 and has been working at RRC since 2010.
Having begun her career as a high school teacher in rural Manitoba, Jo-Anne has been involved in all aspects of education for more than 25 years. Prior to working at RRC she worked for TLG and Viterra where she worked as an Instructional Designer, LMS administrator, and Trainer.

Vice-President: Lynette Phyfe
Lynette has been employed since 2009 at the University of Manitoba as an instructional designer for blended and online courses. She also was the Interim Area Director of the Distance and Online unit from 2013-2015. She taught in the secondary and post-secondary classroom, virtually and face-to-face for over 20 years prior to coming to Manitoba. Recent board experience with professional organizations includes serving on the CAUCE research committee for 2 years and for the past 4 years on the Canadian Virtual University advisory board. She also has previous national board and conference organization experience with the National Science Teacher’s Association (NSTA), Association for Science Teacher Educators (ASTE) and Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE).

Jim is employed as a web communications specialist at Extended Education, University of Manitoba. He has a passion for educational technologies.

Claudius is a distance learning professional in the Manitoba post-secondary sector having 25 years experience with media and educational technology and training. He has been a member of MADLaT since its inception.
As instructional designer at Red River College since 2010, his duties include development of online Apprenticeship and Professional/Diploma courses at RRC and faculty development/training.
Prior to working at RRC, he spent 17 years in the Centre for Distributed/Distance Learning at University of Winnipeg, latterly as the Assistant Manager (University of Winnipeg Instructional Network) and WebCT Administrator. His responsibilities included supervision of the Telecourse/Video-On-Demand production staff and facilities, LMS administration and faculty support, training & development.

Board Member : Nadine Ogborn
Nadine works at the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) as Curriculum Coordinator in the Centre for Teaching and Innovation. She has recently returned home to Winnipeg after living in Hamilton for 8 years. While in Hamilton Nadine worked at McMaster University as an Education Coordinator in Obstetrics & Gynecology and at Mohawk College as an Instructor, Instructional Technologist and later, Manager of the Centre for Teaching and Learning.

has been involved with the content management system at the Université de Saint-Boniface since 2008 and has taught multimedia courses for the École technique et professionnelle since 2014. He holds a diploma in Communication multimedia (Université de Saint-Boniface) as well as an advance diploma in 3D Computer Graphics (Red River College).
He has worked in the field of multimedia for more than 15 years from visual effects for documentaries (TV), to graphic design, to web design. Interests include gamification and enriching content to engage audiences in all mediums.
