Developing Leadership Skills through e-learning

Session Description:

The session will highlight how Manitoba Lotteries Corporation introduced e-learning to complement their 4 level Dimensions in Leadership training program. The session will provide an overview of the development of specific e-learning program components, and their use in skill development in the workplace for supervisors and managers. The presenter will include information on working with an outside e-learning development consultant, training roll out and program evaluation.

Presenter: Judith Hayes, M. Sc. Ed, Manitoba Lotteries Corporation

Judith Hayes is a certified adult and vocational educator holding a Bachelor of Education and Masters of Science in Education degree who specializes in workplace development. She is currently the Director of Employee Services & Organizational Development for the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation. Her department focuses on Pay & Benefits, Performance Management, Employment Equity, Career Development, Employee Recognition and the development of frontline, management and technical skills.

Over the past 15 years she has developed an excellent understanding of employee development issues through the management of both public and private sector organizational development areas. Judith has also consulted and developed human resource programs and training across Canada and internationally.
