Session 24
Developing and Teaching an Online Anatomy and Physiology Course: How
Hard Could it Be?
Is it possible for students to have a
meaningful and enriching online learning experience in a lab-based
course? The presenters will demonstrate how an online Anatomy &
Physiology course can provide a hands-on experience previously
considered out of reach to the online learner. See how animation, video
and 3D rotational photography have been utilized to provide the student
with a learning experience parallel to the face-to-face student. In
addition, the presentation will demonstrate how humor and
student-instructor interaction can play a vital role in learning.
Presenters: Mr. Bruce Palmer,
