Session 11
Web 2.0 and
Communities of Practice
Session Description:
This presentation will examine
the unique opportunities Web 2.0 provides to Communities of

understanding the functionality of a CoP, the integration of Web
2.0 applications will be illustrated as a natural shift for
enrichment. Web 2.0 provides unique opportunities for accessing,
sharing, and creating information. An understanding of
traditional information structures, as well as shifts in the way
knowledge is built and organized will also be discussed.
