Google… More than just a search engine.

Session Description:

One of the hallmarks of a Web 2.0 tool is its ability to allow users to share and collaborate. Google Docs is a powerful alternative to software-in-a-box office suites with many advantages. Google Docs allows users to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations, invite others to collaborate and save and publish the finished work in a variety of formats. As well, a complete revision history is available for each document created. The best part is the price as Google Docs is free!

John Finch is a consultant with Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth. His primary focus is on MECY’s Literacy with ICT Across the Curriculum initiative. John is a former early years and middle years teacher and spent 6 years as Technology Coordinator of Mountainview School Division.
