Title: The Wise Guys: On-Line Tutoring Videos for College Math

Session Description:

How can we provide academic support to college students burning the midnight oil? The Learning Assistance Centre of Red River College has produced over 40 short videos that address common math questions in business administration, trades and technologies. In this workshop you’ll see sample videos, as well as hear an overview of the working process, check out the ‘Flip’ camera we used, and have an opportunity to ask questions about our experiences.

Margerit Roger, M.Ed. is the Coordinator of the Learning Assistance Centre and Assessment Services of Red River College. She is an experienced program planner and instructor for adult and workplace education, but a newbie at integrating new technologies into education.
