Session 14
Session 14 continues into
Session 22
Title:
Open Space Forum – Generating New
Points of View
Session
Description:
This session will follow the
“open space” format - rather than having a sage on the stage,
this session will discuss content generated by conference
participants. As a group, participants in this session will
identify several themes of common interest and self-organize
into mixed working groups. The generator of a theme becomes the
initial owner of that working group.
During the session, everyone
has the opportunity to share their personal talents, knowledge
and experiences to the common themes. Participants are free to
move to the different working areas as desired. If you feel you
have landed in a situation from which you cannot learn anything
or to which you cannot contribute anything: use your own two
feet to walk to a more appropriate place. Feel free to walk
around to look and discuss what is going on in other groups and
join in when you like. This way, you will be taking your ideas
and experiences from one group to another, which leads to
cross-fertilization.
A summary and reporting
component will bring the ideas discussed back to the larger
group.
