Title: Using Social Media To Enhance Communications

Session Description:

Whether you are faculty or an administrator, what are some of the social media tools that can be used to communicate your message? You will see real world examples of how SharePoint, Twitter, Facebook and Delicious can be used to communicate any message to the entire world or to a specific audience.

Presenter: Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson is currently employed as the Systems and Services Technician at the Red River College Library. In the past he has consulted in the design and development of RRC web sites including the current Library web and the Anytime/Anywhere Instructor Resource (AIR Web). Mark can also be found teaching both distance and face-to-face courses in the Red River College Continuing Education Department. Outside of Red River College, he has been the owner Multipoint Productions, a Winnipeg web design company, in business since 1993, working on web projects for large, medium and small businesses. He is also a retired member of the Canadian Navy.
